Why drive
You don’t take detours — you carry along your existing trips. Zero wasted kilometres.
Typical earnings depend on route length and item size. Short city: €30–80. Long Stockholm–Gothenburg: €150–250.
You only accept requests that fit. No shifts, no minimum hours, no waiting in a queue.
Last week’s earnings on your account every Friday. Stripe handles it, you receive directly to your IBAN.
Before you start
Most drivers open their account in under 5 minutes. Grab these before you start.
Driving licence, passport or national ID card. You’ll need to photograph it — front and back. Blurry photo → retake. Try good lighting.
Nordic IBAN, e.g. SE45 5000 0000 0583 9825 7466. You need ownership of the account — joint accounts work if you’re the primary owner.
Same as your official record. Stripe is required by law to verify your identity to this address.
Mobile (not landline) — Stripe sends a 6-digit confirmation code via SMS.
Required for tax reporting. Stored on Stripe’s servers, not visible to Rubber Wheels.
What happens during Stripe verification
Stripe is a global payment infrastructure (PCI DSS Level 1 certified, used by Apple, Amazon and many banks). Rubber Wheels Oy never handles your card or bank details — Stripe does.
Email, password, phone number. Confirm via SMS code.
In the app: Profile → ’Activate driver mode’. This opens Stripe’s form directly inside the app — no separate website.
5–8 short fields: name, date of birth, address, ID number, IBAN. Stripe pre-fills what it can.
You take a photo of your ID with the camera — front and back. Stripe’s AI checks image quality automatically.
In most cases, instant. If Stripe requests additional information, you’ll receive an email within 1–2 business days.
A day as a driver
Example: you’re driving from Stockholm to Gothenburg on Friday afternoon. You told the app your route in advance.
Push notification: ”New request on your route: Stockholm → Gothenburg, 1 m³ box, 12 kg, Friday 2–5 PM.” You tap to open.
You see request details: pickup, drop-off, what’s being shipped, when. You bid a price, e.g. €75. The sender sees your bid.
Notification: ”Anna accepted your bid.” Stripe holds €75 from the sender’s card in escrow — money is safe but not yet yours.
App suggests optimal time and navigates to the door. Anna sees your location in real time.
Anna hands over the box. You photograph it in your boot — proof of condition at pickup.
You’d drive this anyway. Sender follows on the map — no ”where are you?” texts needed.
Door open in Gothenburg. Second photo — item delivered intact. Recipient confirms in app.
€75 − 15% service fee = €63.75 transfers via Stripe to your IBAN. One transaction, all of last week’s earnings on Friday.
Earnings model
85% of every delivery. No hidden fees, no monthly charge, no equipment fee, no fuel commission.
15% service fee. This covers platform operations, moderation and customer support.
Taxes are your responsibility — delivery fees are taxable income. We recommend checking your local tax office’s earnings limits. Stripe sends you an annual earnings summary.
